3.2.1 Connection via USB
FLEX communicates via USB with the computer, to display its graphical interface (or
GUI) it needs a browser platform such as Google Chrome.
3.2.2 Connection via OBD
OBD mode or On-Board Diagnostic Mode, allows the user to work in total safety
through the vehicle’s diagnostic socket and expedites each supported procedure.
Unlike the BENCH and BOOT modes, in most cases it is only possible to access
the calibration or map area of the content, as the OBD programming specifically
targets the tuning market where execution times and speeds are essential for the
development of solutions.
MANY PROCEDURES REQUIRE THE USE OF A STABLE BATTERY CHARGER
CONNECTED TO THE VEHICLE FOR THE ENTIRE DURATION OF PROGRAMMING.
