Disposal of filter bag
Remove the filter bag from the paper filter container
slowly and carefully and dispose in non-permeable
bags in accordance with applicable requirements for
disposing of such waste.
3.6
Device plug socket with automatic switch-
ing on and off for electrical tool / dust gen-
erator
The dust extractor is equipped with a connection
socket 4 (Fig. 1 - page 3) and an automatic on / off
switch for electrical tools.
To ensure that all the dust is vacuumed up after the
device is turned off and while the electrical tool is
running down, the electronics of the vacuum cleaner
does not switch off until 3.5 seconds after the electri-
cal tool turns off.
3.7
Volume flow display
When used as an industrial vacuum cleaner (IS):
The fixed value of the volume flow display 3 (Fig. 1 -
page 3) is adjusted so that when the air speed falls
below an average level of 20 m/s in the hose system
27 mm (1 1/16 in.) Ø the control display flashes 3
times to indicate that the filter bag is full.
When used as a dust extractor (ENT):
Monitoring of the minimum volume flow should be
regulated according to the diameter of the extracting
hose (see the table in section 1.3).
Monitoring of the minimum volume flow
is performed on the dust extractor by
measuring the pressure drop in front of
the blower. It is easy for the operator to
adjust the monitoring in a simple manner
on the dust generator without a tool.

Operation
4.1
Switching on and off
Switch settings for IS mode (industrial vacuum
cleaner)
see Fig. 1 - page 3
0 = Off
I
= On (manual mode)
Volume flow display is switched to a fixed
value that causes the signal light to flash if
in relation to the required inner diameter of
the hose (e.g. 27 mm (1 1/16 in.)) the air
speed falls below 20 m/s (65.6 ft./sec.).
Switch settings for ENT mode (dust extractor)
see Fig. 1 - page 3
A = Ready for operation mode for switching on
and off automatically (vacuum cleaner is
turned on and off by the electrical tool)
RA = Device designs outfitted with "AR" can be
operated as described under "A" except that
in this case the vibrator is placed in opera-
tion for automatic filter cleaning for about
7 sec when the volume flow display is lit up
and turns itself off automatically afterward.
Power outlet 4 is provided for connecting an electri-
cal tool (A/RA-mode).
When connecting, electrical tools
must be switched off. When the
mains plug is connected, the power
outlet is constantly under tension
regardless of the switch setting.
When the switch setting is "0", the
power outlet can be used as exten-
sion cord (e.g. for a lamp).
Connection value: dust extractor and
connected device max. 16 A.
To avoid duty cycle peaks that are too high, the vacuum
device is equipped with startup limitation (soft startup).
When the vacuum motor is starting
up, you should not turn the selector
switch all the way until the dust
extractor comes to a stop. Otherwise
you will then need to select the 0 set-
ting to ensure that the electronics
function with no problems.
4.2
Tips and notes
When vacuuming with dry material, the fold filter
5 (Fig. 2 - page 3) must be completely dry.
During wet vacuuming, the built-in sensor pre-
vents the maximum fill level in the container
from being exceeded. The device will not con-
tinue to vacuum if the container is full. Turn off
the motor. Disconnect the vacuum plug and
empty the container.
If large quantities of liquid (more than enough to
fill one container) are detected by the sensor
during vacuuming, turn off the device and empty
the container.
