Position drive wheel (A) against wheel drive hub (B)
such that air valve (C) is on the outside and tire
tread (D) points forward when windrower is in cab
forward position.
For turf tires (diamond tread), be
sure arrow on sidewall points in forward rotation when
windrower is in cab-forward.

Lift wheel on hub with lifting device.

Line up the holes in the rim with the studs on the wheel
drive hub and install wheel nuts (A).

Ten-bolt wheels only:
Tighten drive wheel nuts (A).
Ensure nuts and studs are dry with no lubricant
or Never-Seez® compound.
Torque each to 510
N·m (375 ft·lbf) using the tightening sequence as
shown. Repeat torque procedure every hour until two
consecutive checks produce no movement of the nuts.

Eight-bolt wheels with L9 hardware only:
Tighten
drive wheel nuts (A) to 230 N·m (170 ft·lbf) using the
tightening sequence as shown.
Repeat sequence
three times.
