b) Timed drying cycles (manual)
Timed dry: The timer runs during the entire cycle.
Dewrinkle: For removing wrinkles from items that are
clean and dry very lightly damp.
Fluff: For freshening or removing lint from already dry
clothing.
Start
Close the dryer door. Press start.
Opening the door during operation will stop the dryer.
To restart the dryer, close the door and select start to
complete the cycle.
Sanitized
It is a high temperature cycle. The duration of the cycle
depends on the humidity, the quantity and the type of
clothing that is entered.
We recommend using this cycle for clothes with a high
cotton content, for example, towels, jeans, sheets,
bathrobe.
For best cycle performance, fill dryer up to half or ¾ parts
maximum.
Verify that the dryer duct is in good condition and free of
obstructions.
Lint Filter
Clean the filter before each use. Slide the grid that covers
the filter out. Move your fingers through the filter. It may
form wax buildup on the lint filter due to the use of fabric
softeners added to the dryer. To remove residue, wash
the lint filter with soap and warm water. Dry completely
and perform the replacement. Do not operate the dryer
without the lint filter and grid in place. Have a qualified
technician vacuum the lint from the dryer once a year.
The exhaust duct
Inspect and clean the exhaust duct at least once a year to
prevent clogging. A partially clogged exhaust can
lengthen drying time.
Follow these steps:
1. Turn off the electrical supply by disconnecting the plug
from the wall socket.
2. Disconnect the duct from the dryer.
3. Vacuum the duct with the hose attachment and
reconnect the duct.
The exhaust Hood
With a mirror, make sure inner flaps of the exhaust hood
move freely when operating. Make sure there is no wildlife
(birds, insects, etc.) nesting inside the duct or hood.
