Log Analyzer
The MS-TestPro can perform an extended HDBaseT Performance test to qualify a CATx link
over an extended period of time.
On all too many occasions, end users report intermittent drop outs of video and audio over
extended periods of time. Spending time watching a screen for a drop out can be wasteful
for an integrator.
The comprehensive Log Analyzer function measures over sixty different parameters of the
HDBaseT link. It has been designed to track random failures over a long period of time.
The test duration is up to 24 hours, as required, allowing the performance of the cable to
be captured over a period of time exceeding the time when the customer has reported
intermittent issues with the link.
Log files are generated in pairs – one for the Transmitter module and one for the Receiver
module. Up to 5 pairs of log files are stored in the internal memory of the MS-TestPro. When
a 6th pair of log files is generated, the oldest log file pair in the system is automatically
deleted.
The MS-TestPro has been designed to be installed into the end users system, passing the
customers video stream between source and display, and left in situ for the test duration.
