Whenever possible, pull off the trail when you stop. This
will reduce the hazard to other snowmobilers using the
trail.

Trail signs are used to control, direct or regulate the use
of snowmobiles on trails. Become familiar with all signs
used in the area where you are snowmobiling.

Wildlife compliments your snowmobiling day. Snowmo-
bile tracks provide firm ground over which animals can
travel from area to area. Do not violate this privilege by
chasing or harassing wildlife. Fatigue and exhaustion
can lead to animal's death. Avoid areas posted for the
protection or feeding of wildlife.
If you happen to be fortunate enough to see an animal,
stop your snowmobile and observe quietly.
The guidelines that we support are not designed to limit
your snowmobiling fun, but to preserve the beautiful
freedom that you can experience only on a snowmobile!
These guidelines will keep snowmobilers healthy, happy
and able to introduce others to what they know and en-
joy about their favorite winter pastime. So, the next time
you hit the trails on a cool, crisp and clear winter day,
we ask you to remember that you are paving the way for
