IMPORTANT!
To follow the latest regulations about task, flying a competition up to five tasks can be prepared in that way. The
pilot is able to input (only by hand) the procedures overhead Start, Tp´s and Finish separately
(SETUP/OBS.ZONE
defines the same procedure for all turn points)
. Up to five tasks from 00 to 99 can be modified that way. It
doesn’t matter task number. Starting EDIT procedure a very typical
sign (ZONE)
will appear if selected task could
be modified. If there is
no ZONE
, that means five tasks are already modified. The modified task is active
for three
flights.
After the third flight is set back to default setting (SETUP/OBS.ZONES). This delay allow the competition
pilot to make three take offs not to loose his individual settings.
If there is a big observation area around the turn point
an AUTO NEXT: N
can be selected, that
means manual
change
over to next turn point.
To deactivate all previous settings and to reach five free settings again, is
necessary to use TEMPLATES and all settings will be brought to default. How to fly the task see paragraph Fly LX
7000.
3.2.5.2
TASK new
To build a new TSK an empty TSK should be selected (all points NOT PROG). After COPPY an already existing
task could be copied and edit after, or a completely new task could be created using selection of turnpoints.3
3.2.5.3
DECLARE
The function is by LX 7000 not very important having a not approved for IGC flights. Having in mind that LX 7000
is able to communicate with Colibri and LX 20 will make this function more important. The declaration procedure
substitutes the old method of making pictures of the black board and clock. The declaration should be done before
take off in any way, during the flight is this function not active. Having done the declaration in LX 7000, is possible
to start WRITE FLIGHT INFO and transfer the declaration to the
LX 20 or Colibri directly
.
All known methods (select, insert, and delete) can be used to change the declaration.
Changing of declaration will
not change the TSK.
Normal procedure:
•
Prepare TSK in EDIT menu (you will need it for navigation)
•
Press ENTER on declare and leave declare using ESC
•
Transfer data to Colibri or LX 20 (Flight Info)
Change over after INSIDE
