Vertical Venting Installations
•
Up to four elbows (45º or 90º) may
be used
• Elbow combinations can be either
horizontal or vertical in any
combination that does not exceed
the four elbow limit.
•
Vertical Flexible Chimney of any
kind is prohibited in the installation
of this appliance.
• When the vertical height of the
venting piping exceeds 16 feet an
exhaust restrictor should be
installed it down drafting causes
flame instability
Maximum Vertical
Straight vent pipe is
24ft.
Maximum horizontal at
a hieght no less than
8ft is 11ft. with a
vertical termination.
