Presence sensor
When the presence sensor is switched on, the light will only come on when the sensor detects
that people are present.
– Press the sensor button to switch the presence sensor on or off.
• The sensor button will light up when the presence sensor is switched off.
• The sensor button will not light up when the presence sensor is switched on.
• The light will switch off automatically after approx. 10 minutes, if no human presence is
detected.
• The sensor button will flash if such an absence is detected.
Luminosity sensor
The luminosity sensor monitors the indirect lighting, depending on the ambient light. When
there is sufficient daylight, the light sensor will switch off the direct light, or dim it.
Note:
The reference value for the luminosity sensor is always the most recently set indirect
light value.
When you adjust the luminosity of the indirect light to the desired level, the resulting
illuminance is measured on the cover.
If the ambient light changes, the indirect light is brightened (up to the maximum value)
or dimmed accordingly, or switched off.
If you change the level of the indirect light, the reference value of the luminosity sensor
also changes.
– Press the sensor button to switch the light sensor on or off.
• The sensor button lights up when the luminosity sensor is switched off.
• The sensor button does not light up when the luminosity sensor is switched on.
• The sensor button flashes when the indirect light is switched off, because there is suf-
ficient ambient light.
• When the luminosity sensor is switched on, the light only comes on if there is insufficient
or very little ambient light in the room.

The USB charging connections depend on the VITAWORK
®
variants present.
Smartphones and tablet PCs can be charged via two built-in USB charging ports.

lamp.
Note:
The ports are only used to charge the connected devices. No data is transmitted.
– Connect the devices to be charged to the charging ports using an appropriate USB cable.
