Perform the following items to clear trouble:
• At COT, replace TAU/TRU (check circuit pack version and option set-
tings).
• At RT, check ADU options and replace ADU if options are correct.
• At RT, replace AUA105 TRU.
• At RT, check AUA6( )D LIU options and replace LIU if options are correct.

After performing the above Step, did LIU A
CLF and BCU A and B indicators
go off?
If NO, then continue with Step 5.
If YES, then proceed to Step 7.

Replace MC97771A1 or MC97776A1 BCU. If trouble does not clear, check
wiring using SD-7C117-01 or SD-7C117-02 (SD-7C118-01 or SD-7C150-01
for FTTH) to clear trouble before continuing.
6.
Request COT personnel to install TAU/TRU (in shelf group CD TRU slot) cir-
cuit packs in LIU slot D.
Response:
Digroups C and D alarms clear on BCU.
Minor alarm indicator may be on if the system is integrated
and the protection line has not been restored.
7.
After COT installs TAU/TRU, did alarms clear?
If NO, then continue with Step 8.
If YES, then proceed to Step 11.
8.
Perform the following items to clear trouble:
• At COT, replace TAU/TRU (check circuit pack version and option set-
tings).
• At RT, check ADU options and replace ADU if options are correct.
• At RT, replace AUA105 TRU.
• At RT, check AUA6( )D LIU options and replace LIU if options are correct.
