3. Keyed Bass
Keyed Bass
enables bass sounds to be played from the lower keyboard, rather than the pedals.

Press the words
Keyed Bass
on the screen.
•
Press the screen button to turn the feature on and off.
Any of the bass tab sounds can be played from the lower keyboard (left of the keyboard split when key
split is active).
•
Keyed bass disables preset lower keyboard function.
Press the lighted

4. Pedal Recognition
Pedal Recognition
enables MCS (Music Chord System) chords to also be played on the pedals
•
Press the words
Pedal Recognition
on the screen.
•
Press the screen button to turn the feature on and off. When on, the pedals (left of the pedal split when pedal
split is active) can be used to play MCS chords.
•
Pedal Recognition disables normal Pedal function.
•
Use the
Pedal Recognition
when using a style or the easy button (both activate MCS) to free the left hand
for upper keyboard play and allow chord changes to be made with the feet.
For example, to play a G MCS chord, play a G pedal.
To play a G Minor MCS chord, play G pedal and a B
b
pedal together.
The G Minor MCS chord can be played using a G Pedal and a B
b
pedal, a G Pedal and a B
b
key on the lower keyboard, or a G key on the lower keyboard and a B
b
Pedal with Pedal Recognition on.

2. Keyboard Screen
The
Keyboard Screen
displays the notes being played, or the notes
played from USB Tribute song data.
•
Press the words
Keyboard Screen
to display an illustration of both
the keyboards and the pedals. The notes being played will become
highlighted.
•
The name of the chord being played or the name of the style being
played (from USB Tribute song data).
•
When a song is playing from a USB with Tribute song data, the notes
being played will be indicated.
•
Standard MIDI files do not display notes on the keyboard screen.
