LOCATING THE RF WIRELESS EXTENDER
For A/V cabinet installation, the Wireless Extender may be mounted on the underside of the cabinet
top facing downward, on the bottom shelf facing upward, or on an inside cabinet wall facing inward.
Ensure that there is a minimum of 10 cm (4”) between the Wireless extender and the front face of
your A/V equipment. Plug the AC adapter into an electrical outlet.
For wall mounting, place the Wireless Extender no more than 5 meters (16 feet) from your A/V
equipment. Plug the AC adapter into an electrical outlet.
If you will be controlling all your devices with the supplied IR emitters – and none with the IR Blaster
– you may locate the Wireless Extender anywhere within 2.5 meters (8 feet) of the devices.
NOTE:
In all cases, ensure that your choice of placement for the Wireless Extender allows it to be
accessed via USB cable or temporarily removed in the event you upgrade your system configuration
