5.6 Manage Repositories
This screen allows the user to set up repositories over a network. For example,
repositories can be network shared folders. Once configured, networked repositories
can be used to clone drive images created by the SCSI-NG using the
Drive to Image
mode of cloning. Images created by the SCSI-NG to networked repositories can also be
cloned to a drive using the

Networks are configured differently and may require
the assistance of a Network or Systems Administrator
to ensure proper configuration for sharing.
When
Manage Repositories
is selected, two tabs are available at the top of the screen:
Add/Remove –
Adds a repository using using the SMB, CIFS, or NFS protocol.
iSCSI –
Adds a repository using the iSCSI (Internet Small Computer System Interface) protocol.
5.6.1 Add/Remove
A list of repositories will be shown. The user has the option of adding or deleting a repository.
This will include all connected drives and any networked repository.
If a repository location shows
(NOT MOUNTED)
, it is
because the drive attached is not formatted by the unit or
the unit cannot connect to the shared network resource.
