1. Click the START icon.
2. In the Search window, type “cmd”
(without the quotes).
3. In the search results above the Start
icon, click “cmd” or “cmd.exe”. A window
will appear with the command prompt.
4. Type to following commands listed
below. In the example below, “Z” is the
volume or drive letter the Operating System
is currently on.
mountvol z:\ /S
bcdedit /set {bootmgr} device partition=z:
bcdedit /set {memdiag} device partition=z:
bcdedit /set {default} device partition=c:
