Selecting teletext pages
There are various ways of finding what interests you in the teletext:

1. Enter the page number with the number
buttons on the remote control. Always
enter three numbers. A question mark
represents a number which has not yet
been entered.
2. Call the overview, page 100, or in FLOF
the index page with
i
or
3. Page forward with the green button
or backwards with the red button
or
4. For TOP and FLOF additionally with the
buttons
, or
5. On overview and index pages or pages
with references, mark the page numbers
with the
▲
or
▼
button. Then press
the
X
button to view or
6. Call the TOP view in the TOP operating
system with the
MEN
button, make your
selection from the list of topics with
▼
or
▲
, then from the list of subjects with
▼
or
▲
.
Press the
X
button to view.
In the case of an input error, press
and start again. Whilst the search is in
progress the 2nd number indicates the
incoming pages; an arrow > is visible in
front of the first number in the meantime. If
the page does not exist <Page not found>
appears briefly in the menu line.
The next available page is turned to
automatically in all operating systems.
To turn back, the set „remembers“ the last
20 page numbers and goes back to these.
In TOP,
turns to the next topic and
to the next subject. In FLOF to the
specified subjects.
Your TV set searches every teletext page
for a page number and then displays the
possible selections underneath the menu
line. Because this search includes all three-
digit numbers, other numbers (e.g. an
exchange rate or an amount of an
ingredient in a recipe) may occasionally be
interpreted as a page number. After
marking the page number, you have 5
seconds to select the page with
X
. If you
wait any longer, the mark on the selected
page disappears and you will have to mark
the page again.
