SYNCHRONIZATION SYSTEM (Express 320 S2 = option)
Note:
The Express 220 S2 comes with this device. On the machine Express 320 S2, it is an option.
The bar feeder uses an electromechanical synchronization system directly connected to the tower to
measure the movements of sliding head lathe and copy them to the pusher. This prevents the bars to
undergo buckling.
During machining of small diameter (2 to 5 mm), forces and counter-forces from the lathe spindle and of
the pusher acting on the bar may cause deformation of it.
The synchronization system allows for simultaneous movements between the lathe spindle and the bar
feeder.
We must consider the following factors to determine whether the use of synchronization is necessary:

diameter of the work piece material (2-5 mm)
·
work piece material (soft material)
·
machining type (long pieces)
