6.2 Replacing B-unit brush belts
6.2.1 Preparing to replace the brush belt
The brush belts have opposite operating directions in both the upper and the
lower B-unit.
Since the brush belts depend on the operating direction, their running
direction must be logged.
NOTE
To prevent damage to the brush belts, the operating direction for the B-units
(top or bottom) must be logged.
6.2.2 Releasing tension /removing of the B-unit brush belts
The tension of the B-units brush belts are mechanically released/tightened

 Move the B-units entirely apart, setting the gear selection lever (see
5.2.3) on the upper and lower B-unit. With the doors open, press and hold
the Set up machine button (see 5.1.1) and move the B-unit with the
joystick.

Release tension on the B-unit with the screw (1). Move the pulley (2) as
far to the left until the brush belt can be removed (step for upper and
lower B-unit are identical).
