6.1.2 Advice for operating with protective gas
A great share of heat is brought out of the chamber when the gas flow is high.
Select low gas flow !
It is only allowed to connect to the furnace gases which are not toxic and non
explosive.
Purge gas valve for large gas is open when system is switched off or in case of
power failure.
6.1.3 Advice for loading
Wear goggles when loading the furnace
Do not touch heating element when loading, danger of breakage !
Inner lining of the furnace is made of graphite material not withstanding
stress. Load carefully to not damage lining.
Max. permitted load at uniform distribution : 150 Kg.
Use only thin-walled Al2O3 vessels or graphite crucible.
Burning accessories with wall thickness over 8 mm will crack during fast
heating and cooling. (
