you have multiple Transmitters your Receiver will attempt to connect to the last Transmitter that it was
connected to. If you want to connect to a different Transmitter, press the
Source
button on the remote
control, highlight the desired transmitter and then press
OK
. Alternatively you can use the
Quick Select
1/2/3
buttons on the remote to switch between Transmitters.
Operation
Once all equipment is turned on the Extender will initiate a Wireless link, successful connection of the
link will be shown by the blue Wireless Link LED on both the Transmitter and Receiver units. This may
take a short while depending on the distance between the units and other environmental factors.
When the initial Wireless Link has been established the Extender will then establish a Video Link
between the Transmitter and Receiver units, once this has been completed a second blue Link LED will
be lit on both units. Whilst the Extender is creating the video link it is normal for your HDMI display to
flicker on and off. With both the Wireless and Video Link LEDs illuminated the Extender is ready to
transmit video.
Once a connection has been established you can switch between your HDMI source devices using the
HDMI 1/2 buttons on the remote control.
The receiver unit can be switched off by pressing and holding the
Fn
button or by pressing and holding
the
GUEST
button on the IR remote. To switch the receiver back on press the
Fn
button. To switch the
Transmitter unit off press and hold the
Fn
button for 3 seconds; a quick press of the
Fn
button will switch
it back on.
IR Extender Function
You may control two HDMI source devices remotely using the IR Extender function using the following
instructions.
1. Ensure that the IR Eye on the Receiver unit is positioned to receive IR commands
2. Connect the supplied IR Extender Cable to the IR Input on the Transmitter unit
3. Position the IR Flashers near the IR Port of your source devices
You can now control your source device from the display side of your installation, using the source
remote control.
Additional Features
Amending the name of a Transmitter
It is possible to change the name of each Transmitter using the on screen menu using the following
steps, which will need to be repeated on each Receiver you have.
1. Press Menu and then select Setup and press
OK
.
2. The following Menu will be displayed, select
Modify Transmitter Name
and press
OK
.
3. A list of the available Transmitters will be
displayed. Highlight a Transmitter and press
OK
.
4. Using the up/down arrow keys you can scroll through the list of numbers, upper and lower case
letters. When you have found the desired character press the right arrow key to move to the next
character. Repeat this until you have the desired name, and then press
OK
to store the new name.
5. Repeat steps 2-4 for each of the Transmitters you have available.
