— check that rubber feet / end caps are not missing, loose,
excessively worn, corroded or damaged;
— Überprüfen, dass Gummifüße nicht fehlen und nicht
lose, stark abgenutzt, korrodiert oder beschädigt sind;
— check that the entire ladder is free from contaminants
(e.g. dirt, mud, paint, oil or grease);
— Überprüfen, dass die Leiter frei von Verunreinigung ist
(z. B. Schmutz, Farbe, Öl oder Fett);
— check that locking catches (if fitted) are not damaged
or corroded and function correctly;
— Überprüfen, dass die Verriegelungsschnapper (wenn
vorhanden) nicht beschädigt oder korrodiert sind und
ordnungsgemäß funktionieren;
— check that the platform (if fitted) has no missing parts
or fixings and is not damaged or corroded.
— Überprüfen, dass die Plattform (wenn vorhanden) keine
fehlenden Teile hat und nicht beschädigt oder korrodiert
ist.
If any of the above checks cannot be fully satisfied, you
should NOT use the ladder.
Ergibt eine der obenstehenden Überprüfungen kein
zufriedenstellendes Ergebnis, sollte die Leiter NICHT
benutzt werden.
For special ladder types, further items identified by the
manufacturer shall be taken into account.
Bei speziellen Leiterarten müssen weitere vom Hersteller
angegebene Teile berücksichtigt werden.
