Stand-by time

‚

When the vehicle moves, the  motion sensor starts the
sta nd-by time B.

‚

The stand-by time inclu des

-  Pause time, during  which  the controller responds to the

driving time pulses until the end of the  pause time.

-  Lu bricating time, durin g which  the cont roller re sponds to

th e brake pulses (by actu ation of t he brake lig ht) until
th e end of the lubricating.

‚

When the stand-by time starts, the voltage  of the brake
light (terminal 54) p rovides the pump  with  voltage via  the
con trol  p .c. b.

‚

The stand-by time is fixed that in 6 hours  the lubricating
time runs once.

‚

The printed circuit board  is desig ned in such a way that,
within a  real travelling time of 6 hours, the operating t ime
runs once

Pause time

‚

The stand-by time B starts with the p ause time (T1 ...  TX).

‚

The pa use time is th e time range in which the controller
records driving move ments b y m eans of t he motio n sen-
sor 1 (see Fig. PCB.  5).

‚

Each time the vehicle stops, the pause time stops as well.
The electronics mem orizes the times driven until then
(T1.. .TX).

‚

When the vehicle moves on,  the pause time continue s
from whe re it had b een inte rrupt ed when the vehicle had
sto pped .

‚

Driving  times are memorized until the  adjusted p ause time
is reached.

‚

Whenever the stand-by time B has lapse d, a new lubricat-
ing  cycle starts.

Lubrica ting time

‚

During the  lubricating time the pump supplies lubricant to
the conn ected lubrication points.

‚

The lubricating time
-  de pends on the lubrica nt requ ireme nt

- is variable

‚

Longer lubricating time means more  lubricant; shorter
lub ricating time means le ss lu bricant.

‚

The lubricating time  TA (Fig.  PCB  5) runs with in the
sta nd-by time B. It starts  with  the first act uation o f the bra -
ke TB1.
The lubricating time  can  be a djusted from 2 to 30  minutes
(increment 2 minut es) on  the con trol p.c.b.

‚

The du ration of the brake procedure  is st ored an d add ed
up each time there  follows another brake proced ure until
the adjuste d lu bricating time A has been reached .

‚

Afte r each further b rake  operation TB4 (Fig. PCB 7) no
further lubricating t ime will result until the pause time T (as
well as the stand-by time B) h as lapsed and starts with a
new cycle.

Time s torage

‚

When the vehicle is immobilized, the capacitor maintains
the stored time of a vaila bilit y as well  as the stored operat-
ing  times for about 4 - 5  days.

‚

If the vehicle is immobilized for a  longer time, the stored
times are  cancelled (the  capacito r loses ist charge).

‚

When the vehicle is mo ved again, a new cycle of  sta nd-by
time beg ins.

‚

When the vehicle is started u p again, the cycle begins
with  an operating time o f the  pump the first time the brake
is actuated
