Fig. 7.2 Output signal emulation
Output signal emulation is the debugging mode enabling current output setting and
operation testing.
Press the “EMUL.” key, transmitter will change to emulation mode in about 4 sec-
onds. The key is fixed in the pressed position, inscription color changes to magenta.
Thereupon, level and distance values become available for editing. At the change of
these parameters, output current signal must also change in accordance with data in
this panel.
In order to cancel emulation mode, click on the «EMUL» key once again, transmit-
ter returns in normal mode in 4 seconds.
7.3 Snapshots.
So-called “Snapshots” provide most complete information on device operation.
Snapshots are files with extension “FOT” containing the signal records and addi-
tional data received from transmitter. These contain comprehensive information on
the device operation conditions. The snapshots analysis allows consideration of par-
ticular application specifics, transmitter installation optimization and its configuring
for the most accurate and reliable operation of level measurement system. For de-
tails, see “Configurator – User's Guide”. Section “Snapshots handling”.
