5.6 Device connection procedure
- safety regulations adopted at the enterprise must be strictly observed;
- all operations must be performed with disconnected supply voltage.
- make sure that supply voltage complies with device specifications.
- prior to voltage supply, device external ground terminal must be connected.
Required tools:
- minus screwdriver 3mm;
- minus screwdriver 6mm;
- stripper or any other suitable tool for wire stripping;
- when using multiconductor wire, the use of terminal lugs is recommended.
Pre-connection:
1. Install required number of cable glands in the device casing. When using
two cable glands, unscrew the cap with 6mm screwdriver and install second cable
gland into this position.
2. Remove the technological cap from the factory-installed cable gland.

Device is connected according to the procedure below:
1. Unscrew level transmitter cover.
2. Loosen the cable gland collet nut.
3. Lead cable into device through the cable gland packing seal.
