ULM.0.01.000RE_10_08_20

- current signal amplitude, and on the right following the “Min.:” word - amplitude
criterion (“Adequate signal amplitude” in the “Configuration” tab). When amplitude
is below criterion, bit 2 of the status register is set to 1.
“Measuring device test” – measurement system performance indicator; on the right
– maximum permissible value; when this is exceeded, bit 1 of the status register is
set to 1.

If the “Measuring device test” parameter maximum permissible value is exceeded,
this  means  the  level  transmitter  electronic  module  failure.  Follow  repair  request
procedure in accordance with para. 11 hereof.

- “Readings stability” – indicator of general stability (short- and long-term one).
-  “Mode”  –  steady-state  mode  when  transmitter  finds  steady  signal,  otherwise  –
transient mode – test mode after switching on.
-  "Supply  voltage"  –  current  and  minimum  permissible  voltage  in  volts  (status  bit
7). Temperature inside the transmitter casing in degrees centigrade, and permissible
temperature range (status bit 10).
“Transmitter vertical deviation” – in two planes in degrees, and permissible devia-
tion  (status  bit  6).  When  permissible  deviation  is  exceeded,  transmitter  leveling  is
required (with water level).

“Status”

panel. For more details, see “Configurator – User's Guide”.

The

“Communications”

panel  allows  estimation  of  communication  line  state.  As

long as “Diagnostics” tab is active, continuous data exchange with transmitter oc-
curs.  Value  in  “Data  exchanges”  field  must  be  continuously  increased  (from  0  to
999, and then reset to zero), values in “Communication errors” and “Check sum er-
rors” fields must not be increased subject to use of high-quality communication line.
Single errors could occur at the real facilities with the extended communication line.

The

“Equipment  panel”

displays  additional  optional  components  for  monitoring

the power supply, temperature, tilting angles (tilt meter) available in the device.

The

“4-20mA Output”

panel visualizes current  output  settings: base height (H0  -

on the right), levels/distances corresponding to the 4 and 20 mA currents (4ma_N =,
20ma_N= on the left), and current level and distance values. In addition, measure-
ment range limits are highlighted in magenta on the top and bottom.
The

“Readings”

panel displays level, distance, input and output currents, and relay

contacts positions.
