Running Built-In Self-Test (BIST)
Every time the switch is powered on, the BIST will automatically run;
however, if the switch is not running correctly, the problem can be detected by
forcing the BIST to run. To do this access the Advanced Directory in the CLI
and follow the steps in this section:

Disable the switch to verify there isn’t any traffic while running BIST.

Start the BIST.
Switch :\Advanced\BIST> BISTstart
