DIAGNOSTICS STATE 7
This test indicates if the Telemetry feature is Enabled/Disabled.
Upon entry the system will beep and display a heart in the PROGRAM PROFILE LED Matrix if the TELEMETRY
HEART RATE feature is enabled.
The condition of the TELEMETRY HEART RATE system will be displayed in the ELAPSED TIME window and the
user Heart Rate (if transmitter is in use) will be displayed in the DATA ENTRY window.
When the system default is set to allow the telemetry heart rate system to function, it will display ‘
ON
’ in the DATA
ENTRY WINDOW. When the system default will not allow for the telemetry heart rate system to function, it will say
‘
OFF
’.
The user can change the default setting of the system by pressing the '
5
' key. The system will toggle from an ‘
ON
’
to ‘
OFF
’ to ‘
ON
’ condition by continuing to press the '
5
' key.
When the TELEMETRY HEART RATE system is not available, a user will observe an ‘
OFF
’ in the DATA ENTRY
window during normal user PROGRAM SELECTION. The two heart rate programs, FAT BURN and CARDIO, will
not allow selection. Any attempt to choose either program will result in an invalid PROGRAM SELECTION.
When the TELEMETRY HEART RATE system is available, a user will observe NOTHING in the DATA ENTRY
window during normal PROGRAM SELECTION and the programs will be allowed to be chosen.
Diagnostics State 8 can be entered now by pressing the
START/ENTER
key or Diagnostics State 6 can be
returned to by pressing the
CLEAR/PAUSE
key.
DIAGNOSTICS STATE 8
This test indicates the display console default setting of English or Metric units of measurement.
When the default is set to display in English units of measurement, it will read ‘
E
’ in the DATA ENTRY WINDOW.
When the default is set to display in Metric units of measurement, it will read ‘
9
’ in the DATA ENTRY WINDOW.
The user can change the default setting of the system by pressing the '
5
' key. The system will toggle from an ‘
ON
’
to ‘
OFF
’ to ‘
ON
’ condition by continuing to press the '
5
' key.
Diagnostics State 9 can be entered now by pressing the
