Camera and Video
You can use the camera or camcorder to take and share pictures and videos. Your phone comes with a 8
megapixel camera with an autofocus feature that lets you capture sharp pictures and videos.
Take Pictures
The following topics teach you how to take pictures with your phone

Open or Close the Camera
You can open the camera through the applications list and close it from the camera menu. In addition to
using the applications list to open the camera, you may be able to launch the camera from within other
applications such as Contacts or Messaging.
Open the Camera

Viewfinder Screen in Camera mode
The Viewfinder screen lets you view your subject and access camera controls and options.

Flash: Select a flash mode for the camera.

Swap camera: Switch between the back-facing camera lens and the front-facing camera
lens (for self portraits, video chatting, etc.).

Shot mode to select the shot mode from the following options:

Normal : Captures a normal photo shot.

Dynamic tone (HDR) : Combines photos taken at multiple exposures into one optimal photo
to get a better photo in tricky lighting situations.
