3) Enter the Line number or move cursor using [Next]/[Prev] Softkeys, and press [ OK ]
Softkey to select a Line.
4) Press button, or move cursor to 9.Extension for DSS using [Next]/[Prev] Softkeys, and
press [ OK ] Softkey.
5) Input the Extension number for the DSS Line using the dial pad.
6) Press
[ OK ] Softkey to save your configuration.
7) Press the button to exit from the menu.
The DSS Extension should only be assigned for a DSS Line. Do not assign a DSS
extension for a Private or Shared Line.
3.5.1.10 ACD Active
A Private Line or primary shared Line (Boss BLA) appearance on the User’s LIP Phone can be
associated with an Automated Call Distribution (ACD) group defined in the Call Server as an
Agent. Calls to the group are routed by the Call Server to Agents in the group. For proper
operation each Line that will receive ACD calls must be identified.
To modify the ACD activity assignment:
1) Press the button. If the LCD Menu is locked, use the unlock procedure (refer to
Section 3.3 Lock/Unlock Configuration).
2) Press button, or move cursor to 2.SIP Configuration using the [Next]/[Prev] Softkeys,
and press the [ OK ] Softkey.
3) Enter the Line number or move cursor using the [Next]/[Prev] Softkeys, and press the
[ OK ] Softkey to select a Line.
4) Press button, or move cursor to 9.ACD Activity: using the [Next]/[Prev] Softkeys, and
press the [ OK ] Softkey.
5) Select [Yes] Softkey to activate or [ No ] Softkey to deactivate ACD for the Line.
The ACD Settings for the Phone must also be enabled for proper operation; see section
4.2 VoIP Configuration .
