WARRANTY

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
1. Service trips to deliver, pick up, install, or connect the product; instruct the customer on operation of
the product; modify wiring of product or installation place wiring; or correction of unauthorized
repairs/installation.
2. Failure of product to perform or fuse replacement during power failures and interruptions or
inadequate electrical service.
3. Failure or limited performance of the product due to its incorrect installation or connection (eg niches
that prevent natural ventilation).
4. Damage resulting from operating the product in a corrosive atmosphere or contrary to the
instructions outlined in the product owner’s manual.
5. Damage to the product caused by accidents, pests and vermin, lightning, wind, fire or floods.
6. Damage or operation failure resulting from customer or third party actions, except LG Electronics
Authorized Service Center; construction or wiring modification.
7. Damage or failure caused by commercial or industrial use, or use of accessories, components, or
consumable cleaning products that are not approved by LG.
8. Damage caused by transportation and handling, including scratches, dents, chips, and/or other
damages of product surface except material defect and assembling defect.
9. Damage or missing items to any display, open box, discounted, or refurbished product.
10. Products with original serial numbers that have been removed, altered, or can not be readily
determined. Model and Serial numbers, along with original retail sales receipt, are required for warranty
validation.
11. Increases in utility costs and additional utility expenses.
12. Replacement of light bulbs or any consumable parts.
13. Service trips, related with reverse Door installation; and defects, caused by unqualified (customer or
third party actions, except LG Electronics Authorized Service Center) reverse Door installation.
14. Additional accessories (shelves, baskets, trays, handles, etc.), those were not originally included with
this particular model.
15. Service trips to customer home to teach customer how to use the product.
16. Damage caused by improper use, rough handling, improper installation, improper repair or
maintenance. The category of improper repair includes the use of parts not recommended or approved
by LG.
