The guidelines are based on standards that were developed by independent scientific organisations
through periodic and thorough evaluation of scientific studies. The standards include a substantial
safety margin designed to assure the safety of all persons, regardless of age and health. The
exposure standard for wireless handsets employs a unit of measurement known as the Specific
Absorption Rate, or SAR. The tests are performed in positions and locations (e.g., worn on the
body) as required by the FCC for each model of usage.
Connected networks
Devices that contain a GSM module are intended for connection to the following networks:
GSM/GPRS 900/1800
Exposure limits
This device complies with radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. In
order to avoid the possibility of exceeding the radio frequency exposure limits, human proximity to
the antenna shall not be less than 20cm (8 inches) during normal operation.
