Address Resolution Protocol

Parameters
These parameters are displayed:
◆
IP Address – IP address statically mapped to a physical MAC address. (Valid IP
addresses consist of four numbers, 0 to 255, separated by periods.)
◆ MAC Address – MAC address statically mapped to the corresponding IP
address. (Valid MAC addresses are hexadecimal numbers in the format: xx-xx-
xx-xx-xx-xx or xxxxxxxxxxxx)
Web Interface
To map an IP address to the corresponding physical address in the ARP cache:
1.
Click Tools, ARP.
2.
Select Configure Static Address from the Step List.
3.
Select Add from the Action List.
4.
Enter the IP address and the corresponding MAC address.
5.
Click Apply.

To display static entries in the ARP cache:
1.
Click Tools, ARP.
2.
Select Configure Static Address from the Step List.
3.
Select Show from the Action List.
