Glass, Frames and Mechanisms

Additional windows
Do not install additional windows in the vehicle.
Windshield
Do not obstruct the rain and light sensor

, camera/ radar unit

and the Vehicle Identification
Number (VIN)

. Obstructions to the sensors will prevent the function of the Autonomous
Emergency Braking (AEB) system, automatic headlights and wipers.
If the vehicle is equipped with a heated windshield and heated door mirrors. Do not attach other
electrical components to the wiring harness for these components.
Supplementary Restraint System (SRS)
General
WARNING
You must disconnect the 12 Volt and the High Voltage battery before you do
work on the vehicle. Refer to the correct procedure in the workshop manual.
