Note:

The instructions on how to install or replace a slim optical drive in the kit also apply to the Slim

Optical Drive Adapter.

1. Slide the kit out of the chassis. See “Optical drive” on page 104.

2. If you are replacing an old slim optical drive, do the following:

a. Press the clip through the hole in the top of the kit as shown and push forward the slim optical drive.

Then, slide the slim optical drive out of the kit.
