Corrective maintenance
Make sure that the PTO shaft is disengaged and the tractor engine is
switched off before maintenance is made.
5.3.1
Replace the tine(s)
Procedure
1.
Stop the tractor and disengage the tractor PTO.
2.
Release the nut and remove the bolt and clamp block from the broken
or worn-out tine.
If available, remove the tine retainer (fig. 3, page 1
‑
3).
3.
Repeat the step 2 for the tines to the end of the tine arm.
4.
Slide the released tine(s) from the tine arm.
5.
Replace the broken tine and slide all the tines on the tine arm in the
correct position, because the installation of the tine is different on the
tine arm with other rotation direction:
• tine installed on the tine arm with a left rotation direction (I).
• tine installed on the tine arm with a right rotation direction (II).
if necessary, install the tine retainer (fig. 3, page 1
‑
3) on the two last
position of the tines at the end tine arm.
6.
Insert the bolt and clamp block on the tine positions.
7.
Tighten the nut to secure the position of the tine.
