Move the Hibiscus to the transport position
Make sure there are no persons in the area when you move the
Hibiscus to the transport position.
Make sure the front axle weight of the tractor is sufficient (use front
weights if necessary) and that you do not exceed the rear axle weight
when the Hibiscus is in the transport position.
Make sure the PTO shaft does not turn when the Hibiscus is in the
transport position.
Always install protective covers on the tines before driving on public
roads.
Use all lights and warning signals as defined by your local road traffic
regulations.
1.
Disengage the PTO.
2.
Wait for all moving parts of the Hibiscus to stop.
3.
On the left and right side of the Hibiscus:
a.
Remove the lynch pin from the four outer tine arms (fig. 10,
page 3
‑
7).
b.
Remove the tine arms from the rotor.
c.
Attach the removed tine arms to the provided mount and install
the lynch pin.
d.
Lift the safety guards up and swing it to the center of the
Hibiscus till it is locked.
4.
Operate the tractor single-acting hydraulic valve(s) to lift the rotor(s) to
the headland position.
• Simultaneous - system I
• Independent - system I and III, if independent rotor lift assembly is
installed.
5.
Operate the tractor double-acting hydraulic valve (system II) to move
the Hibiscus to the transport position (fig. 9, page 3
‑
6).
Keep the valve in operation till the Hibiscus folded up and locked.
6.
Install the protective covers (fig. 11, page 3
‑
7) on the tines of the
four lowest tines arms.
