Move the Hibiscus to the working position
Procedure
1.
Remove the protective covers (fig. 11, page 3
‑
7) from the tines and
store these on the safety guard at the front.
2.
Operate the tractor double-acting valve (system II) to lift the Hibiscus
out of the transport position and to lower it to the headland position.
3.
Set the single acting valve(s) to the floating position to lower the
rotor(s) into the working position:
• Simultaneous - system I,
• Independent - system I and III, if independent rotor lift assembly is
installed.
4.
Remove the tine arms from the support.
5.
Install the tine arms on the rotor.
6.
On both sides of the Hibiscus:
a.
Remove the lynch pin from the stored tine arms (fig. 10, page
3
‑
7).
b.
Remove the stored tine arms from the support.
c.
Install the tine arms on the rotor arms and install the lynch pins.
d.
Make sure the tine arms are locked.
e.
Lift the safety guard up and swing it to the side till it is locked in
position.
