3 SAFETY
3.1 Proper use
This "Straw Baler/Wrapper"
LELY WELGER RPC 445 Tornado .
serves exclusively for producing and wrapping bales
compressed from agricultural straw material lying on the
ground. Using the machine for any other purposes does not
constitute proper use. The manufacturer cannot be held liable
for any damage resulting from such use; the risk of improper
use lies entirely with the user.
Attention, danger of damage!
The machine must never be used without the bale wrapper.
If film wrapping is not desired: select pass-through mode
(see separate operating manual "PRO-LINK for RPC 445",
chapter "Wrap bale or pass bale through?").
Operating the machine within the limits of its proper use also
involves complying with the operating, maintenance and
servicing conditions prescribed by the manufacturer.
The bale weight must not exceed 1.75 t. I. e. the maximum bale
size may not be available for silage bales (dependent on the
quantity of moisture the bales must be smaller). Bale sizes: see
chapter "TECHNICAL DATA", page 34.
The machine may only be operated, serviced and repaired by
persons who are familiar with such work and instructed on the
dangers involved.
The basic requirements on safety and health protection and the
generally accepted safety rules must be observed.
