About the Power Supply
In normal operation, the AFi is powered using a single battery located in
the handgrip. However, in some circumstances you may wish to use a
second battery on the AFi back. For example:
•
For the flexibility to remove the AFi back and continue working while
the power is still on for review and file management.
•
As a way of keeping a battery on hand. When the battery in the
handgrip becomes exhausted, the secondary battery can replace it in
the handgrip.
Attaching the Battery to the AFi Back
1.
Press the button on the underside of the AFi back to remove the
battery slot cover.

Press the battery into the recess on the underside of the AFi back, and
then slide it across until it snaps into place.
