IF THE BATTERIES ARE OVERFILLED, ACID COULD SPILL OUT AND DAMAGE THE
MACHINE ITSELF
Tighten the vent caps. Wash the top of the batteries with a solution of baking soda and water (2 tablespoons of
baking soda 1 litre of water)
CHAPTER 16 - SOLUTION FILTER INSPECTION AND CLEANING
Disassemble and observe the plastic container, ITEM 1 FIG. 12, where the clean water filter is contained and
check that it is not clogged or particularly dirty, thoroughly clean the filter and, if necessary, replace it.
CHAPTER 17 - PURGING THE CLEANING SYSTEM DUCTS
ASSISTANCE NOTE:
Before purging, move the machine to a maintenance area to prevent the residue of detergent left in
the ducts from escaping and compromising the floor.
When it is necessary to change the type of detergent to be used, proceed as follows:
Disconnect and remove the detergent tank .
Disconnect the motor
Procure an empty tank, fill it with clean water and insert the detergent tube into the tank and continue as follows:
Check that there is still clean water in the tank .
Move the key switch, ITEM H FIG . 2, into the “ON” power-on position
Make sure the machine is in an area that does not damage the floor, turn on the clean water switch, ITEM B
FIG . 2, and the detergent switch, ITEM C FIG . 2, at the highest percentage of delivery, move forward with the
machine; purging takes 60 seconds .
A purge cycle is generally sufficient to clean the system.
CHAPTER 18 - LUBRICATING THE MACHINE
Apply light machine oil and lubricate the following points:
Steering chain
Drive handwheel shaft cardan joint
General articulation points
Front bumper rollers
