The
KEY LOCK
function can be found in the [Settings] menu.
The input keys can be locked by:
Making an entry in the
Settings
KEY LOCK
menu
or sending a command via a corresponding interface (for example,
RS 232 or Ethernet interface).
The [KEY LOCK] profile is the last profile in the user management. All
commands are deactivated by default. The name of the profile cannot be
changed. However, the Administrator can also enable and disable functions
for operating the device like in every other profile. As a result, the Adminis-
trator can also disable individual functions specifically for the [KEY LOCK]
profile.
You can activate the [KEY LOCK] function in the
Settings
KEY LOCK
menu. The basic mode of operation and method of changing between dif-
ferent views and menus are unaffected by an active key lock.
The activated key lock is indicated by
the disabled [User] tile accompanied by the word
KEY LOCK
and
the system automatically logging in the
KEY LOCK
profile when the lock
is activated.
When the
KEY LOCK
function is deactivated again (setting is [Off]), the
system logs on the [DEFAULT USER] profile automatically.
