Checks before Start

Before putting into operation check up the machine for completeness.

Check up all bolted joints, especially on the cutting head.
- Check up all cutting blades for completeness. If one of them is damaged change it
immediately. It is not allowed to operate the cutter with damaged guards or cutting head.

Fuel tank
Engine oil filler

- If some abrasion occurs change all the blades on account of balance of the cutting head.
- Be aware that the blades are of the left and right type. Proceed carefully.

Check up optimal V-belts slacks.

Never start the machine with removed guards.
- It is not allowed to carry out any modifications and technical changes on the machine.
- It is not allowed to start machine with spilled oil on its parts.

Before any adjustment put the machine out of operation, i.e. idle state of the cutting
head and of the engine. The building machine must be blocked against unwilling motion.
- Keep all unauthorised persons or animals out of range of the machine while working
(min. distance of 15 m).
- Before work make sure if there are no stones or other objects within the operating range.

Wear always personal protective aids.

Direct rejected wood chips out of possible motion of other persons.

Make sure that nobody is standing within reach of flying particles.
