Body Temperature Thermal Camera System

500 People/Minute - 0.3°C Accuracy, 32.8' Max Detection Distance

Instruction Manual

The IND-MD-TM-CS-TH-KT from Larson Electronics is a Body Temperature Detection Thermal Camera System for active

monitoring at entrance/exit points, buildings, mass transit hubs, public locations and more. A thermal camera and black

body are used to take temperature readings at a rate of 500 people per minute. This system comes with pole/stand

mounting components and network/power cables.

WARNING:

READ CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING FIXTURE. RETAIN THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

CRITICAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

INSTALLATION SHOULD ONLY BE CONDUCTED BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN IN ACCORDANCE WITH NEC AND ANY

RELEVANT LOCAL BUILDING CODES.

RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK. FIXTURE INSTALLATION REQUIRES KNOWLEDGE OF LUMINAIRES ELECTRICAL

SYSTEMS. IF NOT QUALIFIED, CONTACT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN.

BE CERTAIN ELECTRICAL POWER IS OFF BEFORE AND DURING INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE.

MAKE SURE THE SUPPLY VOLTAGE IS THE SAME AS THE RATED LUMINAIRE FIXTURES VOLTAGE.

TO PREVENT WIRING DAMAGE OR ABRASION, DO NOT EXPOSE WIRING TO EDGES OF SHEET METAL OR SHARP

OBJECTS. SUITABLE FOR DAMP LOCATIONS.

Infrared Warning

INFRARED LIGHT

MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO EYES IN VERY INTENSE CONCENTRATIONS.

RISK OF EYE DAMAGE

AT SHORT DISTANCES. TURN LIGHT SOURCE OFF BEFORE SERVICING.

WIRING

The IND-MD-TM-CS-TH-KT comes with network and power cables. These components can be fed through the poles and

stands during installation.

MOUNTING

The thermal camera and black body are compatible with pole mounting applications (pole mounting components

included). For best results, the thermal camera should be mounted at a height of 7.87' and positioned at an angle of

13°-15°. Optimal height for the black body is 6.88'. The distance between the camera and black body should be 9.84' to

19.68' (optimal distance is 16.4').
