Note:
A hub could connect with up to 8 Ethernet-devices. However, it would reduce the transmission rate if
connected with too many units. (The more units to connect with will produce less transmission rate.)
Note:
If all of your clients do not support TCP/IP protocol, only the first client can connect to the wireless station
adapter.
3.3.4 Install a WDS
The 3-in-1 AP can be configured as a WDS. Under this mode, you can extend the range of your network by adding
additional 3-in-1 AP with WDS mode for each additional LAN Segment. To connect two or more than two APs with
WDS mode please do the following:
1. Attach one end of the Ethernet Cable to AP1 and connect the other end of the Ethernet Cable to Client1.
2. Attach one end of the Ethernet Cable to AP2 and connect the other end of the Ethernet Cable to Client2.
3. Connect the power adapter to the power socket on both of AP1 and AP2. The power
and the
Ethernet light
should light up.
4. When AP1 and AP2 are associated with each other and Wireless LAN traffic activity, you will see the
wireless LAN status
lights up.
