Description
Operation Panel Beeper
The beeper (key tone) sounds when a key is
pressed. This beeper can be turned ON or
OFF.
Default is
On
.
Ready Operation Panel Beeper
Specify whether to sound the beeper when
your unit comes to Ready for copying
immediately after Energy Saver mode is
deactivated or the power is turned ON.
When the Control Panel beeper is set to
Off, the beeper does not sound even if the
Ready Control Panel Beeper is set to On.
Default is
On.
Copy Count Display
The copy counter can be set to show the
number of copies made (count up) or the
number of copies to be made (count down).
Default is
Up (count up).
Auto Response (Human) Sensor If your copier does not detect anyone using
it for a certain period of time, it switches
automatically to one of the preset modes:
•
AutoReset
•
System Reset
•
Low Power mode
•
Auto Off
Auto Tray Switching (Paper
Drawers)
If you load paper of the same size in two or
more trays, your copier automatically shifts
to the other tray when the tray in use runs
out of paper. You can set or cancel this
setting.
•
If you select Yes, and a paper
of a different orientation is
loaded, limitless paper loading
will take place for loading.
•
If you select No, and paper of
the same size and orientation
is not loaded, your copier will
stop and instruct you to load
paper.

Auto Off Timer
Your copier turns itself off automatically to
conserve energy after your copy job is
finished, after the selected time. This
function is called “Auto Off”. The time can
be set from 1 to 240 minutes.
Default is
90 minutes
.
