The Model 1230 Series Coulter Chisel is a
highly versatile primary tillage tool, adaptable to
spring or fall tillage operations. Rigid-frame models
are available in cutting widths from 7’ to 18

’ with
12" or 15" shank spacing. Folding-frame models
include 19,’ 21’ and 23’ cutting widths with 12"
shank spacing.
When equipped with concave disc cutters and
twisted shovels with 12" shank spacing, the 1230
Series aggressively buries residue. When equipped
with rippled disc coulters and straight points with
15" shank spacing, the implement leaves residue
on top for conservation tillage.
Options include a leveling bar for follow-up
planting and deep-till shanks for breaking up
compacted soil.
