distance of 3 m towards flammable materials and surrounding

surfaces.

Do not use the fire pit in strong wind.

Do not overload the fire pit and do not allow the fire to get

too big. The fire pit may be filled with a maximum of 16.5 kg of

firewood.

Allow the fire pan to cool down completely before you empty it.

Allow all parts to cool down completely before you clean the

product, place a cover over it or store it away.

In the event of a fire: Smother the flames with a fireproof blan-

ket or a fire extinguisher.

  WARNING – Danger of Injury!

Do not use any spirit or petrol for ignition or reignition! Only

ever use firelighters that meet the European standard for fire-

lighters (EN 1860-3).

The fire pit gets very hot and must not be moved while in use!

Parts within reach will get very hot. Keep a safe distance from

the fire pit, use the poker to open the doors and wear barbecue

gloves (tested to EN 407) to add more fuel. Even when the fire

has gone out, the surfaces will still remain hot for some time.

Add more fuel (wood) carefully. Never throw it into the fire!

Never use water to extinguish the fire.

NOTICES FOR SAFE OPERATION

Setting Up

PLEASE NOTE!

Only use the fire pit if it has been assembled properly in ac-

cordance with these assembly and operating instructions and is

undamaged. Do not use it if it shows any deformations. Check

before every use. The fire pan must be inserted correctly.

Make sure that the fire pit is placed on a stable, horizontal, flat

and fire-resistant surface which is not made of glass or plastic.

Only use the fire pit for burning ready-for-use soft or hard wood

(no pellets made of this wood).

Igniting the Fuel

Using petrol or spirit to ignite the fuel may result in uncontrollable

heat caused by deflagrations. You should only use safe materials for

burning, such as solid firelighters.
1.  Stack some of the wood in the fire pan.
2.  Ignite one or two solid firelighters with a match. Place them on

top of the layer of wood.

3.  Allow the solid firelighters to burn for two to four minutes.

Then add more wood.

AFTER USE / CLEANING AND STORAGE

  WARNING of Burns!

Allow the fire pit to cool down complete-

ly before you clean it. Never use water to extinguish the hot fire

pit. This may cause burns or scalding.

Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents as they may

damage the surfaces.

Do not fill with water or expose to rainfall for a prolonged

period.

•  Once all parts have cooled down, take out the fire pan and

dispose of the ash in an environmentally friendly way.

•  Clean the fire pan and the rest of the parts with a suitable

brush.

•  If necessary, you can wipe down the product with a damp cloth

and use a little detergent if required.

•  If the parts are very dirty, use a standard enamel cleaner (oven

cleaner). Follow the instruction of the manufacturer of the

agent which is used.

•  Allow all parts to dry completely or dry them before they are

stored away.

•  Store them in a dry, weatherproof location.
