Maintenance
The barbecue is maintenance free. However, you should still perform maintenance checks at regular intervals. The intervals
will depend on how often the barbecue is used and the environment to which it is exposed.
Barbecue
• Check to ensure that all parts of the barbecue are present and assembled (visual inspection).
• Check to ensure that all of the connections are present and securely fastened; tighten if necessary.
Gas system
The gas system needs to be checked every time a gas cylinder is connected (see chapter "Connecting and disconnecting the
gas cylinder“).
DANGER: Risk of fire caused by blocked burners
Insects can block the burners.
Possible consequences:
• Fire on the adjusting elements behind the front panel
• Damage to the barbecue
Safety measures:
• Check the burners after a prolonged period of non-use, but at least once a year, for
signs of blockages.
• If you detect signs of flashback at the adjusting element,
turn the gas cylinder
valve clockwise immediately as far as its stop
(gas off position) so that the
supply of gas is discontinued
If necessary, make sure that you replace the gas hose to meet with national requirements.
Illumination
As the bulb has a limited lifespan it may be that you will have to change it. Use only bulbs of the same type.
1. Close the cylinder valve on the gas cylinder (turn G1 clockwise).
2. Turn all of the flame regulators (A) to "OFF".
3. Unplug all mains plugs (motor and light).
4. Wait until all parts have cooled.
5. Remove the left or right light cover at the rear of the grill hood base as necessary by loosening a screw.
6. Loosen the holder that secures the glass and the frames.
7. Take out the defective bulb and replace it with a new one of the same type (halogen, 12 V, 20 W).
8. Replace the light cover and secure it with the screw referred to in Step 5.
The grill is once more ready to use.
