Danger "Electric shock resulting in death"

The electric motor of the rotisserie and the light run from a voltage of 230 V. There exists

the danger of electric shock if the following safety instructions are not observed.

For your own safety:

•  The  electrical  connection  and  the  requisite  safeguards  must  be  carried  out  in

accordance with the local regulations of the EVU or the VDE as appropriate.

•  Insert the mains plug only in an earthed and properly set up 230 V mains socket.
•  When connecting take care that the connecting cable does not come into contact

with hot parts of the grill or with any moisture (e.g. puddles) and that nobody can

trip over the connection cable. Protect the connection cable from heat, oil and sharp

edges.

•  To increase safety we recommend installing an FI switch with a current leakage of a

maximum of 30 mA between the socket and mains plug. Check that the FI switch is

functioning before each use.

•  The  length  of  the  connecting  cable  may  only  be  increased  using  an  H05VV-F  or

H05RN-F extension cable. The coupling of the extension cable must be protected

from splashing water, be made from rubber or be rubber-coated.

•  If a connecting cable is damaged it must not be plugged into the socket. Do not

attempt to repair the connecting cables yourself but rather entrust this to a trained

electrician. The same applies to an extension cable if you use one.

•  Protect the motor and the light from moisture. Unplug the mains plug if it starts to

rain.

•  Never touch the mains plug with wet hands!
