Technical specifications
Lubrication
Pump driven forced lubrication with direct drive from
the crankshaft.
Oil filtration by:
Gauze filter at pump intake.
Replaceable cartridge filter on engine delivery line.
Oil pressure (with engine at rated power speed): 2.1
bar.
Cooling
Water cooling, forced circulation by centrifugal pump.
Vertical tube type radiator. Exhaust fan on the same
shaft as the water pump controlled by the crankshaft by
means of V-belts.
Thermostat control for water circulation.
Anti-freeze needed for very low temperatures (see
Maintenance chapter).
Normal temperature: 80-85
0
C.
Engine starting
By means of electric starter motor (consult the
Electrical system chapter for the specifications). Cold
weather thermostarter device.
Trasmission
Clutch
Two single disk dry clutches 11 (279.4 mm) in a single
assembly: one clutch connects the engine to the
gearbox, the other connects the engine to the PTO
transmission.
The two clutches have separate controls: the former by
pedal, the latter by means of a lever.

Gearbox
With infinitely meshed gears divided into two sections:
the first has four synchronized gears while the second
has a direct drive clutch, two reductions and a reverse
gear.
A total of 12 forward speeds and 4 reverse speeds.
The gearbox can be supplied with different
characteristics. Consult the Optional extras chapter
from page 86 to page 94.
