USING THE FORTIS™ FOR THE FIRST TIME
• Remove all of the packaging materials.
• Wash the attachments in hot, soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Please take care when handling the blade, as it’s very sharp.
• Never immerse the base unit in water, wipe the outside with a damp cloth.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• Assemble the attachment for the function you would like to carry out, see ‘ ASSEMBLING
THE ATTACHMENTS FOR DIFFERENT FUNCTIONS ’.
• Plug the base unit into the socket and switch on, press the on/off button
to start the Fortis™.
• If the ingredients are not moving through the machine easily, press the reverse button for
a couple of seconds and then try again.
• Never press the reverse button (REV) when the appliance is on. The machine must be
stopped, and then reversed.
• To remove your attachment from the base unit, press the release/lock button and twist the
attachment clockwise with your free hand.
